Cookie Policy
Last Updated: May 18, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how The ITAD App Corporation, doing business as The ITAD App (“The ITAD App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, including theitadapp.com, theitadapp.net, and any related website pages we operate.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It explains what cookies are, why we use them, how third-party tools may use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies can help websites function, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the site, improve performance, and support security.
Similar technologies may include pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, SDKs, and other tracking or storage technologies. In this Cookie Policy, we use the term “cookies” to refer to cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- operate and secure our website;
- remember cookie consent choices;
- understand website traffic and performance;
- improve website design, content, and user experience;
- measure interest in The ITAD App, partner inquiries, business inquiries, waitlist signups, and related website interactions;
- support future website functionality, such as forms, scheduling tools, embedded media, chat tools, or app-related features.
At launch, we do not use advertising or retargeting pixels such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Reddit Pixel, X Pixel, or Google Ads remarketing tags. If we add these tools later, we intend to manage them through our consent tools and update this Cookie Policy as appropriate.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Our website may use the following categories of cookies:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function properly. They may support security, page loading, consent storage, form functionality, and basic website operation.
These cookies cannot be disabled through our cookie banner because the website may not work properly without them.
Preferences Cookies
These cookies may remember choices you make, such as display preferences, region settings, or other optional website preferences.
We may use these cookies if we add features that require remembering your preferences.
Statistics / Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website. For example, they may help us understand which pages are visited, how visitors move through the site, what content is useful, and whether website forms or calls-to-action are working properly.
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager for analytics. Analytics cookies are controlled through Cookiebot and Google Consent Mode. If you reject analytics/statistics cookies, our Google Analytics tag should not fire for your visit.
Google Consent Mode includes consent signals such as analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization. For our current launch setup, the main analytics-related signal is analytics_storage. Google describes analytics_storage as enabling storage related to analytics, such as visit-duration measurement.
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies may be used to measure advertising performance, personalize ads, or retarget visitors across websites and platforms.
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting pixels at launch. Marketing cookies may be added in the future if we run paid advertising or conversion-tracking campaigns through tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, X, or similar platforms.
If we add marketing cookies later, we intend to place them behind appropriate consent controls.
4. Cookiebot Consent Management
We use Cookiebot to provide our cookie consent banner, manage cookie preferences, and help classify cookies used on our website.
Cookiebot scans websites to identify and classify cookies and trackers, and it can help maintain a cookie declaration through ongoing scans.
When you first visit our website, Cookiebot may ask you to accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies. You may update your choices later using the Cookiebot preference button or other cookie preference controls we provide.
5. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic and performance.
Our current setup is designed so that:
- Cookiebot loads first;
- Google Tag Manager is connected to Cookiebot consent signals;
- Google Analytics 4 is controlled through Google Tag Manager;
- analytics tracking is not intended to fire unless analytics/statistics consent is granted.
Google’s consent documentation explains that websites using consent mode should set default consent states and then update those states based on user choices.
6. Your Cookie Choices
You can choose whether to allow non-essential cookies.
Depending on the choices shown in our cookie banner, you may be able to:
- accept all cookies;
- reject non-essential cookies;
- customize cookie categories;
- change or withdraw your consent later.
Privacy regulators generally expect consent for non-essential cookies to be clear and based on a positive user action. The UK Information Commissioner’s Office states that cookie consent cannot be properly shown only by burying cookie information inside a hard-to-find privacy policy.
7. Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Signals
Some browsers or extensions may send privacy preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.
At launch, we do not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use retargeting pixels. If we later use advertising, retargeting, or similar technologies that may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, we will provide required notices and choices.
8. Embedded Content and Third-Party Tools
Our website may include or later add third-party tools or embedded content, such as:
- YouTube or Vimeo videos;
- Cal.com scheduling;
- Webflow forms;
- newsletter or email tools;
- CRM or automation tools;
- chat or support widgets;
- maps or facility-locator tools;
- downloadable PDFs and partner resources;
- social media links or embedded content.
These third parties may set cookies or similar technologies depending on how they are configured and whether you consent to optional cookies. We aim to control non-essential third-party technologies through our cookie consent system where required.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our website, app, tracking tools, legal requirements, or business operations change.
When we make material changes, we may update the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
